There are moments in life when you know you’re standing on holy ground, not because of the location, but because of the Presence that fills it. That’s the heartbeat of The Dwelling Place. This isn’t just another worship night on the calendar. It’s a sacred appointment.

In this post, we’re pulling back the curtain on why we gather, the testimonies that fuel our faith, what’s in store for this year, and how you can be part of it.

1. The Biblical Promise of His Presence at the dwelling place

From Genesis to Revelation, Scripture makes one thing clear: God dwells with His people. In Psalm 90, we’re reminded, “Lord, You have been our dwelling place throughout all generations.” The Dwelling Place exists to make room for that promise, to create a space where we come together in unity, lifting His name, and trusting that as we draw near to Him, He will draw near to us (James 4:8). This isn’t about chasing a “moment.” It’s about meeting the One who transforms moments into movements.

The evening will open with a short video sharing the heart behind The Dwelling Place, followed by a time of live worship led by Jane Eve Jacobs. This year’s theme comes from Psalm 90, a reminder that He has always been, and will always be, our dwelling place. Expect an atmosphere free from distraction, filled with heartfelt praise, and open to the Holy Spirit’s leading. Whether you’re coming alone, with friends, or with your entire church family, you’ll find space here to rest, to worship, and to receive.
